Setup is guided inside MaskOff. The app selects the correct activation path for your carrier and checks that everything is working before you rely on it.
Before you activate
Make sure your mobile plan supports conditional call forwarding. Most major carriers do, but some prepaid plans do not.
Turn off Wi-Fi Calling.
On iPhone, turn off Live Voicemail and Call Screening if those settings are present.
Metro customers: Metro requires one carrier setting before the normal MaskOff setup. See the dedicated Metro setup guide.
Activate and test MaskOff
Open MaskOff and follow the activation steps.
When prompted, dial the call-forwarding activation code shown in the app.
When the guided test call arrives, decline it just like a No Caller ID call.
Wait for MaskOff to confirm that setup works. If it does not, follow the remediation steps shown in the app.
Run the same check again anytime from MaskOff Settings → Check my setup.
Reveal a blocked call
When a call appears as No Caller ID, Private, or Blocked, decline the call.
MaskOff processes the forwarded call and shows the revealed number in the app.
You must decline the incoming call for MaskOff to process it. Calls received before setup cannot be revealed later.
If the guided check still fails, follow the activation troubleshooting steps or email [email protected].
