MaskOff works with major US carriers whose mobile plans support conditional call forwarding.
Some prepaid and other restricted plans do not provide the forwarding feature MaskOff needs. Support can therefore vary by plan even when the carrier is generally compatible.
How to check
Open MaskOff and begin the guided activation.
Dial the activation code shown in the app.
Decline the guided test call and wait for MaskOff to confirm setup.
If the check fails, follow the remediation shown in the app. Run it again anytime from MaskOff Settings → Check my setup.
Metro customers: Metro requires one carrier setting before the normal setup. Follow the dedicated Metro guide.
If you are unsure whether your plan supports conditional call forwarding, ask your carrier whether forwarding when busy is available on your line.
